Forklift Operator

ExodusDirect is currently seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our warehouse team as a Forklift Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to efficiently and safely load/unload trailers and move product within the warehouse. When there is no product to be moved, this position will help in other areas such as picking orders, packaging, kitting, shipping, and receiving. Primary Responsibilities

• Unload materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
• Transport raw materials to production workstations
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities
• Assist in other warehouse related tasks such as picking orders accurately, packaging product, restocking products, and areas of receiving and shipping if applicable.
• Operate PIV equipment safely by following all protocols
• Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance
• Shipping/Loads freight shipments both manually and with equipment; pallet jacks
• Shrink wrap outgoing pallets
• Performs general housekeeping, maintenance, and organization of the dock and inventory areas
• Always focus on safety and quality
• Keep personal work areas clean, neat & organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work within a team concept.
• Positive, self-starting, can-do attitude.
• Ability to work independently, and as a member of the team
• Creativity in problem-solving
• Able to lift 40 pounds on own
• Valid driver’s license
• Proven experience as a forklift operator
• H.S. Diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Team Player
