We are looking for an individual who is excited to take this company to the next level by establishing a sales team that is highly motivated and organized. This individual will oversee the development of our website, dealer program, pricing structure, and event sponsorship program. It is important that this individual is proficient with Shop Monkey and will be able to ensure accuracy with our canned jobs. This means they can look at parts to verify accuracy, check pricing, and ensure our margins give us a product that is competitively priced and beneficial to the business. The Marketing and Sales Manager position requires an applicant who is knowledgeable in the performance diesel industry, understands software and technology, and has a passion for marketing and sales expansion.
1. Ensure customer sales growth.
a. Create a marketing strategy with sales to promote business and acquire new customers.
b. Follow industry trends best support customer needs.
c. Establish sales reports with refined goals to meet the needs of the business.
2. Ensure dealer sales growth.
a. Vet shops in the greater Phoenix area for potential dealers for Tier One.
b. Vet shops in CA, NM, CO, and UT for potential dealers.
c. Establish rapport with dealers and become the point of contact between shops.
d. Ensure dealers are supported.
3. Ensure website sales growth.
a. Work with the website sales team to create specials and promotions.
b. Establish sales reports with refined goals to meet the needs of the business.
4. Event management/ sponsorship.
a. Look for sponsorship opportunities within the diesel racing industry.
b. Ensure that sponsored events are well executed and staffed.
5. Major customer decisions.
a. Ensure customer satisfaction by being empowered to make customer-centric decisions that do not negatively affect Tier One.
6. Refine proper workflow.
a. Take the procedures that are currently in place an refine them to make the company more lean.
7. Tech Savvy
a. Must be proficient in Excel, Word, and Google Apps.
b. Must be able to learn shop programs such as Shop Monkey.
i. Must be able to create and comb through canned jobs for accuracy.
ii. Must be able to ensure correct pricing is displayed on POS system as well as website.
iii. Ensure proper margins are being met.
8. Must be familiar with diesel transmissions and other related parts such as turbos and injectors.
9. Maintain clean and organized workspace.
a. Keep Tier One Merch fully stocked.
b. Keep paperwork on the desk to a minimum.
c. Dust/ wipe down surfaces on a regular basis to showcase a neat and clean shop to our customers. (lobby, bathrooms, front desk)
