Tiello is Hiring a Fire Alarm Project Manager Near Boston, MA

Tiello has partnered with a highly reputable nationally renowned Security Systems/ Fire Alarm Integrator located in the Greater Boston Area that uniquely blends the warmth of a family business with the efficiency of a corporate structure. Seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Project Manager proficient in the installation of fire alarms. Must demonstrate a track record of managing installation, programming, maintenance, and replacement of various system types and models.

Job Title: Fire Alarm Project Manager (Commercial)

Project Types: Commercial, Office Buildings, Industrial Buildings, Mixed-Use, Retail, Parking Lots, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client schedule requirements, planning, and coordination of installation projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to allocate internal resources and subcontractors efficiently.
  • Conduct safety audits and inspections to maintain compliance with regulations and standards.
  • Communicate construction schedules and any milestone impacts to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with sales to secure change order requests for out-of-scope items or unforeseen field conditions.
  • Oversee the Request for Information (RFI) process for ongoing projects, escalating to engineering as necessary.
  • Maintain updated job comments detailing margin slips, schedule notes, coordination details, and hold status clarifications.
  • Schedule and coordinate equipment rentals and lifts as needed for project execution.
  • Document as-built information, device schedules, and acceptance documents for project records.
  • Identify and recover unused materials at the project's conclusion.
  • Schedule and coordinate final customer training sessions and acceptance procedures.
  • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 years of industry experience or CSPM certification.
  • Proficient in Notifier, IntelliNet, Silent Knight, Fire Lite, Bosch, & Potter systems.
  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in probing questions and conflict resolution.
  • Exceptional organizational and prioritization abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Thorough understanding of installation methods, best practices, and procedures.
