Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Security Integrator on their search for a Commercial Security Technician focused on access control, CCTV, IP Video, burglar alarm, and visitor management solutions.

The Commercial Security Technician will be a company representative and serve as a point of contact with the client and subcontractors when required.

Project Types: Commercial and Industrial New Construction, build outs, and retrofits

Job Title: Commercial Security Technician

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Work with a team of technicians in the installation and maintenance of security systems
• Coordinate with clients to determine scope of work and institute an installation plan
• Install commercial security systems including access control, video, alarm, and AV systems
• Provide top notch client support
• End user training
• System testing and signal verification
• Maintain vehicle stock and inventory
• Install new systems, upgrades, and add ons
• Ensure projects are on plan
• Complete and submit all required project documentation
• Detail oriented with strong work ethic

Skills & Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/Vocational Training
• 3-5 years of experience in security systems installation
• In depth knowledge of commercial intrusion systems, networking, CCTV, intercom, and access control systems
• Understanding of local/national codes
• Adept at reading schematics, drawings,
• Valid driver’s license and ability to clear a drug screening
