Position Overview:
The Account Manager is responsible for managing landscape crews and customer needs at this location. The individual is to provide leadership and initiative to ensure services are complete and client expectations are met or exceeded. This is a working position. Enforces all safety rules and completes regular training to stay within regulatory compliance. You must demonstrate skills in time management, team motivation, decision making, and the use of technology.
This position's pay is non-exempt and based on experience. It also has the potential for bonuses. A company truck is included. Benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Short, and Long Term Disability, FSA, 401k, Accident, Hospital, Critical Illness, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Holiday Pay. Safety essentials are provided by the company.
- Minimum of 5 years of prior Commercial Grounds Maintenance customer service and supervisory experience.
- Must be able to meet contract needs while working independently of direct supervision most days.
- Scheduling and mobilization of crews and equipment, training, monitoring and supervising all crews.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to interact with customers to ensure needs are effectively met on time and on budget.
- Candidates must have the ability to meet the physical demands of our work (extensive walking, bending, lifting/carrying 35 - 80 pounds, outdoor weather conditions, and the dexterity to operate mowers, blowers, and related machinery.
- Ability to use computer software and applications, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, timeclock app, and purchase order website.
- Must possess a valid Driver's License and good driving record.
- Ability to pass criminal background check for access to the military base.
- Ability to pass a drug screen.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management and organizational skills, including punctuality for on-time attendance.
