Work Schedule Monday-Thursday : 8am-5 : 30pm
Friday 8am-12noon
May be required to perform other duties as assigned. May be required to assist the agency or state government generally in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
KSA's / Required Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
- Comprehensive knowledge of payroll and human resources policies and procedures; state and federal laws and regulations concerning payroll and payroll deductions, benefit plans and reporting.
- Excellent computer skills including those of computerized payroll and human resources systems.
- Ability to analyze mathematical data and assist in preparing financial / annual reports.
- Intermediate / Advanced Proficiency in Excel and MS Office 365 applications.
- Strong customer service skills with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Additional Considerations
- Public sector experience Higher Education
- Proficiency with HCM / PeopleSoft
