Position Description:
As a Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing , and maintaining IT infrastructure to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, assess technological needs, and develop solutions that meet mission objectives. The role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members.
Desired Skills:

• Familiar with SAFe Agile/Scrum ceremonies, iterative improvement, and stepwise refinement
• Experience supporting hardware installation, supporting servers, desktops, network infrastructure.
• Experience with the primary toolsets - Kubernetes, Ansible MC, Cloud Technologies, Rancher, and Containers as a Service (Caas)
• Experience independently analyzing and recommending alternatives for elements of project's technical design
• Experience understanding system-to-system connections for data flow processes
• Familiarity with the sequence of development tasks with designing, developing, testing, scanning and deploying software
• Knowledgeable of customer infrastructure, resources and deployment processes
• Ability to capture meeting minutes, extract requirements and disseminate information to the team
• Capable of aligning sprint priorities with the roadmap projections and goals
• Experience managing system requirements and derived requirements to ensure the delivery of production systems that are compatible with the defined system architecture(s)
• Experience defining the methods processes, and evaluation criteria by which the systems subsystems and work products arc verified against their requirements in a written plan
• Experience developing system design solution that satisfies the system requirements and fulfills the functional analysis
• Strong understanding of systems design, architecture, and general best practices

Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must hold an active clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field and a minimum of 10 years of professional experience

• This position involves sedentary work with physical requirements expected for at least 50% of the time. Essential functions include prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and talking.
