Overview: We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and processing transactions accurately and efficiently. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Duties: - Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience - Process customer transactions using a point-of-sale (POS) system - Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments - Maintain accurate cash drawer and perform cash register reconciliations - Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns they may have - Ensure cleanliness and organization of the cashier area - Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations - Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery - Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels Experience: - Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Basic math skills to accurately handle cash transactions - Familiarity with POS systems is a plus - Knowledge of food safety practices in a restaurant or food service setting is beneficial - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve customer issues effectively - Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate transaction processing Join our team today and enjoy the benefits of working in a dynamic environment within the food industry.
