Position Summary
The Food Service Coordinator for the Child Development and Learning Laboratory (CDLL) is charged with working cooperatively with the CDLL staff.
The scope of this position involves coordination of all meals, inventorying, preparing, serving, and clean up for breakfast, lunch, and snack is served to all children.
This requires compliance with licensing, CACFP and health department sanitary regulations. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED.
Experience related to the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Evidence of strong organizational and interpersonal skill.
Demonstrated commitment to a team focused environment.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position. Preferred Qualifications Food Service Certificate.
Associates degree in Early Childhood, Nutrition, Food Service Administration, Hospitality Services Administration.
Experience with children, nutrition or food service.
Knowledge of the Child and Adult Care Food program. Duties & Responsibilities Works cooperatively with the CDLL Staff and oversees student employees.
Facilitates breakfast, lunch and snack, including but not limited to :
Coordinates preparation of breakfast, lunch and snack.
Maintains inventory of food as it arrives at the center.
Keeps food supplies stocked.
Organizes the lunch upon arrival into portions for serving family style dining.
Serves lunch in collaboration with other center adults.
Cleans up after all meals.
Maintains licensing and health department sanitary regulations.
Develops a comfortable homelike atmosphere in the kitchen and dining area.
Cleans and organizes supplies and equipment.
Other related duties as assigned. Supervision Exercised None.
