Tasks & Responsibilities
- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
- Planning drink menus and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
- Selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and serving beverages to customers.
- Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.
- Stay guest focused and nurture excellent guest relationships
- Taking inventory to ensure bar is well-stocked.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions and ensuring the cash register is balanced
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area
- Developing new cocktail recipes.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender
- Excellent knowledge of multiple different types of spirits, beer, and wine
- Exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills
- Excellent customer service, including patience and a friendly demeanor
- Ability and willingness to collaborate
- Knowledge of food service regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Capability to learn quickly and memorize menu details
- Flexibility to work shifts, after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays.
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be on your feet and mobile for duration of your shift
- Ability to lift/carry objects up to 25lbs
