We are a culinary boutique, offering unique quality cookware, bakeware, utensils and a variety of spices, sauces, oils and vinegars. We also offer recreational cooking classes at our Sharon location. Sales Associate
Job Description:
The Sales Associate is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all customers. The Sales Associate will work with customers to determine their needs, answer their questions about our products and recommend the right solution. The Sales Associate will work closely with the owner and supervisor to provide quality customer service.
Essential Functions:
·Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
·Upholds our brand image by providing honest, knowledgeable and friendly customer service.
·Ensures that customers are satisfied with the products, services and/or overall experience.
·Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of company policies, procedures and marketing strategies.
·Ensures that the store is stocked and maintains the cleanliness of the store.
·Prepares store displays and takes care of inventory.
·Assists with inventory control, including shipping orders, returns and damaged goods.
·Prepares daily shop inventory including putting away merchandise, cleaning displays and general store maintenance.
·Performs other duties as required or assigned by manager.
·Follows all company policies and procedures outlined below to maintain a safe work environment:
·Stores merchandise in orderly fashion; maintains shelves, racks, and product displays; cleans, polishes, stocks, displays merchandise; maintains office supplies; keeps store and stockroom clean; assists in other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications:
·Must be 18 years of age or older.
·Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
·Must have reliable transportation to get to work at both of our locations.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
