VP of Marketing - Remote

The VP of Marketing, oversees marketing strategies, investments, and efforts to help strengthen, scale, and grow Thriveworks’s market position while achieving the desired business goals. The VP will manage a team of marketers, including in-house SEO/GBP, Paid Search, Social, Comms, and Content, and collaborates closely with our Enterprise team, Payors, Product, Business Operations, Clinical Operations, and Design.
The ideal candidate is coming with a clear playbook on how to scale a Consumer-first services business, striking the right balance of national vs. local marketing strategy.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the annual marketing budgeting and operational plan.
Lead the team to deliver Quarterly Key Results (KRs) in support of the annual OKR goals.
Manage, mentor, and coach a high-performing marketing team to succeed and to motivate high employee engagement, leveraging the Great Place to Work survey results for improvement, as well as ad-hoc eNPS surveys.
Oversee the implementation of SEO/GBP and cross-functional launch programs that build local relevance and findability for centers, while ramping to profitability within six months. Initially focus centers around the existing site relaunch.
Drive the implementation of targeted marketing campaigns, ensuring positive ROI through careful Channel mix management, in a market where demand outpaces supply.
Diversify acquisition channels, while maintaining sustainable cost structure.
Launch and maintain new brand standards and ensure compliance across all Clinician, Client, and Partner touchpoints.
Create new reporting in partnership with Business Operations – to drive more transparency and accountability across the marketing team. Deliver monthly and quarterly Marketing Business Results write-up.
Lead the budgeting and growth forecasting process for the business; manage the budget and expenditures in line with the set annual goals.
Background:
10 - 15 years of marketing experience managing people.
Must have operated at the VP level with board exposure and comfortable engaging with board members.
Growth marketing experience with Direct to Consumer. Results are demonstrable.
Business experience at both the national level and the local level, delivering online and offline bookings/sales. Ideally with experience from a retail mindset.
Growth mindset, demonstrating examples of accelerated growth.
Experience to oversee a group of people across Content, PR and Thought Leadership, SEO, Lifecycle, Paid Channels, and Branding
Engaging leader, who builds, motivates and grows their team to outperform the norm
Personally able to be hands-on with both Google, GA4, and SEO/GBP – mastering both areas and can demonstrate results from either.
Technically and digitally fit – delivering excellence in campaign creation and launch marketing while building processes that can scale
Data-driven and master reporting in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Google Slides.
Experience in content creation and management of an annual publishing schedule- ideally within a healthcare environment.
MBA or similar qualifications are a plus.
