The Employee Relations Specialist will support our people managers through performance management and workplace conflict issues to cultivate an innovative, high-performing, and inclusive culture. The Employee Relations Specialist will have a strong assessment of different types of risk and bring creative and effective ideas and solutions to a growing organization. This role is responsible for addressing and resolving team member relations issues identified by various teams and ensuring legal compliance and adherence to Thrive policies is met in a consistent, objective, and fair fashion that fosters Thrive’s mission, vision, purpose and values. To support that objective, this position’s responsibilities fall into reactive and proactive categories. On a reactive basis, the Employee Relations Specialist will be focused on addressing critical employee relations issues that are highly sensitive and typically can only be successfully completed with limited time, including conducting workplace investigations and advising on challenging employee situations. The Employee Relations Specialist will also work proactively to enhance the employee experience by identifying and addressing employee concerns early, de-escalating and resolving workplace issues before they reach a level of criticality requiring reactive efforts, and escalating complex issues to the Centers of Excellence (COE) for assistance with resolution in a timely fashion. Balancing time between proactive efforts and urgent-response is a critical component for success in this role.Full Time
