The Community Manager is fully accountable for all property operations. These objectives will include maximizing occupancy levels and property values as well as building and cultivating a strong and motivated team.Job Responsibilities:Manage financial processes, which may include creating and monitoring budgets, collecting rent, and vendor/contractor approvals.Hire, train, and supervise all on-site associates.Provide performance management and feedback to all on-site employees.Maintain records on all aspects of management activity and submit required documents and reports, as necessary.Responsible for resident relations, which includes providing excellent customer service, initiating and implementing policies and procedures, handling resident feedback and concerns, etc.Responsible for oversight of the maintenance of the property, including the maintenance team and vendors.Welcome and show property to prospective residents while maintaining awareness of market conditions and trends.Walk and inspect property on a regular basis to ensure the property is clean and welcoming for current and prospective residents.Contribute to a positive team environment and resident base.Community Manager Qualifications:At least 2 years' experience in property managementAt least 6 months' supervisory experience, with demonstrated strong leadership skillsCertified Apartment Manager (CAM) preferredHigh School Diploma or equivalent preferredAffordable Housing Experience preferred (MFTE, Arch, etc)Experience with Yardi/CRM and On-Site preferredA history of accuracy in reporting and overseeing a budgetDetail oriented and highly organizedStrong customer service skills with residents, clients, and vendorsStrong focus on resident retentionExperience in daily pricing and ever changing market demands/trendsProficient in Microsoft Word and ExcelMay require a Driver's License and insuranceIf you do not fully meet the qualifications listed above but feel you have the skills and experience to be able to be successful in this position we welcome your application!
