Description

Summary of Job Duties: Under the general supervision of the National Sales Manager, generate and maximize sales volume to new accounts; screen prospective New Accounts; perform phone sales; conduct market research; and develop strategies to increase new accounts and increase sales on accounts that have no activity.

Specific Job Duties:

1. Conduct phone calls to produce new sales and maximize sales volume to new accounts.
2. Provide and complete the necessary research and documentation on potential new accounts.
3. Organize mailings to prospective new accounts.
4. Attend Sales Meetings, Sales Trainings, and product information sessions.
5. Follow up courtesy call once account has been opened and placed their first order.
6. Manage New accounts until optimal transfer time to a Sales Rep.
7. Lead and manage selected assigned house accounts.
8. Follow all department and company policies.
9. All other tasks as assigned by the Management Team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications Required:

1. High School Diploma or GED required;
2. 2 years applicable telemarketing, sales or customer service experience;
3. Knowledge and understanding of sales;
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills, self-starter, self-motivated;
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
6. Proven experience of being persuasive, influential, and professional on the phone;
7. Personable with Enthusiastic Attitude;
8. Well organized, attention to detail and excellent follow through a must; and
9. Must type 40 WPM.

Skills and/or Training Desired:

1. Strong skills in identifying opportunities and new accounts;
2. Highly motivated to work independently within established procedures.
