POSITION PURPOSE: The Restaurant Server is responsible for serving food and/or beverages to guests while delivering outstanding guest service. His or her responsibilities include following a daily schedule, performing proper set-up, maintenance, break-down and set-up of the restaurant and providing excellent guest service and satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Other duties may be assigned)  Greet all guest with eye contact and a warm welcome as they enter the dining area.  Maintain a proactive guest service approach at all times.  Assist with seating guest as needed (in the absence of the hostess)  Provide fast, friendly professional and responsive customer service to hotel & restaurant guest & staff.  Serve food and beverage in accordance with standards and in a professional courteous manner.  Maintain knowledge of all menu items and composition  Adhere to all Brand Standards regarding Food and Beverage and Service  Assist with the set up and cleanliness of the Restaurant.  Assist with clearing and set-up of tables  Assist with restocking of supplies as needed  Communicate effectively with Management and other Team Members  Use Point of Sale (POS) system as required  Perform other duties assigned by supervisor/ manager.  Perform special daily projects assigned by supervisor/ manager

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:  High School Diploma or equivalent is required.  Six months Customer Service, hotel or restaurant experience preferred, but not required.  Must have excellent customer service skills  Must obtain TIPS certification within 30 days (if not certified).  Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong customer/client focus.
