THREE RIVERS CASINO is Hiring a Facilities - Hotel Maintenance Tech Near Florence, OR

Description

The Hotel Maintenance Technician (Tech) is responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of all equipment, systems and facilities within Three Rivers Casino Resorts’ (TRCR) Hotel, creating a safe, comfortable and functional environment for guests and Team Members. The Hotel Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Director of Hotel Operations but the position will be placed within the Facilities Department so the FTE can assist with other projects as time allows. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responds promptly to requests for hotel maintenance assistance.
  • Diagnoses and repairs minor issues with plumbing, electrical systems, heating and cooling systems, appliances and other hotel equipment that do not require licensing or training certifications. 
  • Completes hotel maintenance requests in a timely manner. 
  • Conducts routine inspections of the hotel premises, to include rooms, in order to identify and address any maintenance issues.
  • Maintains a preventative maintenance program for all furniture items, fixtures and equipment.
  • Collaborates with other Hotel Team Members, such as front desk and housekeeping, to address urgent maintenance needs.
  • Operates radios efficiently and professionally while communicating with Hotel Team Members.
  • Interacts with guests in a professional and courteous manner when responding to hotel maintenance requests. 
  • Makes recommendations to Management regarding needed repairs.
  • Maintains accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Keeps track of inventory and orders supplies as needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Uses all repair tools and equipment in a manner safe to self, other Team Members, and guests.
  • Ensures that the facility is clean and safe at all times.
  • Assists Facilities with projects as time allows and does not take away from responsibilities to the Hotel.
  • Other duties as directed by management.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, Team Members may be exposed to secondhand tobacco smoke, including regular exposure for those working on the casino floor. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate and can occasionally reach a high level for short periods of time. This position is determined to have a potential for possible exposure to bloodborne pathogens. At times this position requires Team Members to work in all types of weather conditions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to carry, reach, twist, bend and squat frequently.
  • Must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND ELIGIBILITY

  • Minimum age requirement for this position is 21 years old.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and be insurable by TRCR’s insurance agency.
  • General understanding of computer programs, with proficiency in all windows applications required.
  • Knowledgeable in the care and use of hand tools and equipment necessary to perform various repair tasks. 
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal and people skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, verbally, in writing or by other acceptable means.
  • Comply with pre-employment, random and reasonable suspicion alcohol and drug testing. 
  • Receive and maintain a valid gaming license from the CTCLUSI Tribal Gaming Commission. 
  • Availability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the department and for special casino events.
