The Nurse Manager is a key member of the Nursing Leadership Team who is responsible for overseeing the operations of an inpatient unit. Actively serves as a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, supporting the organization philosophy of care and ensuring the safety & well-being of each patient.

Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of college of nursing. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in
nursing. Specialty certification also preferred.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of recent experience preferred.
Age Population Served: adolescent and adult (depending upon unit)
Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of South Carolina. BLS/CPI Certification training required
Demonstrates sound leadership skills and utilizes these skills in organizing the activities and schedules for medical and/or non-medical tasks of the unit for any given shift
Flexibility regarding hours and scheduled work & ability to work on units, as needed
Record of consistently high quality of clinical and interpersonal skills to be an exemplary role model to others.
Actively participate in On Call rotation for Nursing Department; which includes staffing and working in patient care areas as needed.
Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships in a variety of clinical and support team members
