Laurel Crest, a life plan community is looking for an innovative leader dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors in our Healthcare Center. The Director of Nursing plays a pivotal role leading and managing all aspects of the clinical healthcare services. This role will require outstanding critical thinking, communication, organization and systems management.

A $5,000 Sign on bonus offered for this position in increments. Great staff to resident Ratio!

The duties for this unique role include, but not limited to, the following:

• Lead, direct and manage a 12 bed skilled unit while influencing the entire continuum of care.
• Daily clinical and resident hands on care coupled with administrative duties.
• Recruit and hire staff, as well as, monitor staff performance.
• Perform the employee health services for all staff including TB screening, new hire physicals and drug screens..
• Experience with electronic medical records (Point Click Care is a plus).
• Knowledge of SC DHEC certification and licensure regulations.
• Assist with the Vital Living Program.

Requirements

• Licensed as an RN in the state of South Carolina
• CPR Certification
• 2 years of clinical supervisory experience in a healthcare setting
