What you will make! $80k-87k annually 

What Will You Do? 

The Nurse Supervisor is responsible for daily operational oversight and performance of all medical/clinical aspects.. Success will be primarily measured through three core data points: financial performance data, staff retention/engagement data, and program outcomes/quality data. Program supervisors are expected to model principles of the Leadership Pipeline as a Leader of Others. 

  • Ensures the coordination between the mental health services being delivered with primary physical care healthcare providers.? Consults with primary healthcare providers on the clinical aspects of the clients being served and the implications for those client’s physical healthcare needs.? 
  • Coordinates with medical staff of other providers (e.g. state and community inpatient and outpatient facilities).? Supervision of all medical staff within the Agency.? 
  • Serves as a resource person to staff and participates in staffing for complex or high-risk individuals with psychiatric issues.? Remains current with required documentations, assessments and treatment plans and ensure that the treatments are current, appropriate, and follow accepted guidelines and community standards, and are not experimental in nature.?
  •  Prescribes medications as a component of treatment plans, explains purpose to other staff, and monitors effectiveness of all medication interventions

Requirements

 What qualification do you need?

  • Verified 3 years of work experience as a high performing individual contributor in a related field
  • Exposure to leadership/management experiences either through short term project management, coordination, training or actual
  • leadership positions
  • Displays the capacity/coachability for future growth and development as a leader. 
  • Education requirements for a leader of others in programs is a Bachelor’s degree. 
  • Supervisory experience preferred. 
  • Experience in pediatrics or psychiatry preferred. 
  • Registered nurse license must be in good standing with the NC Board of Nursing.
