Thomasville Health and Rehab is seeking someone who enjoys working with seniors and the disabled. We are seeking someone who would be very interested in leading and organizing group or single events in our skilled nursing facility. If you have a great deal of imagination, love arts and crafts, games, socializing and can plan and develop exciting and therapeutic activities, we would love to have you on our team. The Activities Assistant works with the Activities Director to implement all recreational activities for our residents.
This job includes every other weekend work. We prefer a candidate who is already a Certified Activity Director or who is working on their certification. Candidate must be familiar with Point Click Care and Microsoft Office. We are looking for someone who is an effective communicator both orally and in writing.
Previous nursing home experience in any capacity is a plus. This is a part-time position. Typical hours could be 9a - 1p daily. Please send an accurate and up-to-date resume.
