Thomas Concrete is looking for experienced, professional Class A or B CDL drivers to operate and drive our ready-mix concrete trucks!

Drives truck equipped with auxiliary concrete mixer to deliver concrete mix to job sites.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs and documents pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections to ensure truck is delivery safe and in compliance with DOT requirements.
- Drives truck under loading hopper to receive sand, rock, cement, and water and starts mixer.
- Proactively communicates with other delivery colleagues.
- Safely drives truck to customer job site for unloading.
- Assesses customer job site for hazards and safety concerns.
- Professionally represents Thomas Concrete to the customer.
- Proactively works with the customer to solve on-site issues and concerns, reports problems to Thomas Concrete management.
- Ensures appropriate slump of concrete at the job site.
- Handles and assembles concrete chutes.
- Proficiently manipulates truck controls to unload concrete.
- Completes delivery tickets with arrival time, pour time, and water added.
- Maintains a professional personal appearance, including usage of Personal Protective
Equipment. - Fully complies with the safety standards of Thomas Concrete.
- Contributes to the plant by assisting with various tasks, such as maintenance and
housekeeping in and around the work environment. - Builds the culture of Team Thomas by assisting colleagues as needed.
