Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Raw Material Hauler to join our team. As a Raw Material Hauler, you will be responsible for transporting raw materials to and from various locations using different types of vehicles and equipment. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Pulls levers or turns crank to tilt body and dump contents. Moves hand and foot controls to jerk truck forward and backward to loosen and dump material adhering to body. Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must maintain valid commercial drivers license and DOT physical card appropriate for the class vehicle assigned.
