Pay Grade: 12-E Coordinator/Entry Level Support
Pay Range: $45,000 - $53,600/ year
Job Summary: As a Graphic Designer at Thistle Farms, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to craft visually captivating designs that resonate with our brand tone, objectives, and budget. Working collaboratively, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating and executing impactful campaigns, while monitoring performance to ensure alignment with our mission and goals. Your creativity and attention to detail will be essential in managing resources and delivering compelling designs that make a meaningful difference in our community.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Creative Services Manager and cross-functional teams to conceptualize, design, and produce a wide range of creative assets including social media graphics, emails, infographics, posters, brochures, newsletters, signage, and more.
  • Partner with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns that align with organizational goals and effectively resonate with target audiences.
  • Ensure consistency and strict adherence to brand guidelines across all creative deliverables to maintain brand integrity and enhance brand recognition.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously innovate and elevate our creative efforts, ensuring they remain fresh, relevant, and engaging.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to completion, while meticulously meeting deadlines and adhering to budget requirements to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming sessions, providing valuable creative input and generating innovative ideas for new initiatives and campaigns that captivate and inspire our audience.
  • Assist with photoshoot planning and execution, collaborating with photographers and other team members to capture compelling visuals. Additionally, support photo editing and retouching tasks as needed to ensure high-quality imagery for our creative assets.
  • Report directly to the Senior Creative Services Manager, providing regular updates on project status and progress, and actively collaborating on strategic initiatives to drive creative excellence and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2-5 years) working as a graphic designer, preferably within a non-profit or social enterprise environment.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work across various platforms and mediums.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools and software.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
  • Ability to take direction, collaborate with team members, and incorporate feedback into designs.
  • Capable of working independently and taking initiative.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for social impact and a desire to use design as a tool for positive change.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
