Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Healthcare Facilities Manager who is eager to contribute to the success of a dynamic healthcare institution. As a Healthcare Facilities Manager, this individual will be at the forefront of ensuring that our healthcare facility operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. This role is pivotal in providing a well-maintained and secure environment for our patients and staff. 

Employment Type: Full-Time. 

Hours: Monday-Friday, other hours as needed.

Location: Mansfield, OH.

Salary: Starting at $52,500 annually

Mission:

Community Counseling & Wellness Centers:

We exist for the sole purpose of providing high quality, professional mental health and substance abuse treatment to the individuals and families of North Central Ohio, including Crawford, Marion, Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties.

Third Street Family Health Services:

To deliver comprehensive health and wellness care, accessible to all in the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities: 

  1. Facility Maintenance: Manage and oversee maintenance, repairs, and renovations to keep the facility in excellent condition, adhering to healthcare standards and regulations. 
  2. Safety and Security: Implement and supervise security protocols, emergency response plans, and safety measures to guarantee the welfare of patients, visitors, and staff. 
  3. Budget Oversight: Develop and manage the facility's budget, efficiently allocating resources for maintenance, repairs, and enhancements. 
  4. Vendor and Contract Coordination: Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure the delivery of quality services within budget and on schedule. 
  5. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that the facility complies with healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards. 
  6. Sustainability Initiatives: Promote environmentally responsible practices, including waste management and energy efficiency, within the facility. 
  7. Team Leadership: Lead a team of facility maintenance and security professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance. 

Requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Valid Driver’s License and Ability to be insured on the commercial automobile insurance policy. 
  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field preferred 
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facilities management in a health care setting, preferred 

Environmental &Physical Requirements: 

The Manager of Facilities Staff may be required to lift to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as climbing ladders, crawling, and bending. They may also be required to work outside of regular business hours in emergency situations. 

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time. 
  • Ability to lift and move up to 20 pounds without assistance, and up to 50 pounds with assistance. 
  • Ability to climb ladders, crawl, and bend to access equipment and facilities. 
  • Ability to operate office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers. 

Sensory Requirements: 

  • Ability to see and read written materials, including technical manuals and safety guidelines. 
  • Ability to hear and communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and other staff. 
  • Ability to work in various environments, including indoor and outdoor spaces, and exposure to chemicals, fumes, dust. 
  • May work in areas where patients with contagious illnesses are being treated and exposure to blood borne pathogens is possible.
