Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Production Manager (PM)/Sound Engineer to oversee the advancement and production of Third Room music events. The PM will play a pivotal role in ensuring top tier quality of sound, lighting, and overall execution of Third Room events.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating the production of Third Room events, including audio, lighting, video, staging, scenic, trucking, logistics, etc.
• Ensuring each music act is provided with all of the technical accommodations agreed upon in the booking contract (tech advancing)
• Ensuring that all production equipment is adequately protected and maintained
• Promptly addressing any challenges or issues regarding the sound, staging, or lighting during shows
• Collaborating with the Third Room video tech and all other production techs (in-house or artist hired)
• Overseeing the staffing and scheduling of Third Room production team (sound and lighting techs, stage hands, etc.)
• Manage production crew during load in, execution, and load out of show
• Manage event budgets and expenses
• Communicating Third Room’s show protocols to artists and their crews, such as:

- Prohibited activities on stage

-Prohibited special effects

-Sound decibel limitations

- Load out timeframe

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in live music production, AV, and entertainment
• Minimum of 3 years in sound engineering
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
• A ‘big picture view’ of production
• Working knowledge of technical equipment
• Strong leadership ability
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Solid verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail and follow through
• Excellent Organization skills
• Ability to lift 85 lbs.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word)
