Position Purpose:
The Technical Direction Team is responsible for facilitating the integration of all design disciplines within the TAIT Group. The TAIT group divisions support but are not limited to Museums, Theatres, Exhibits, Live Shows, Concerts, Theme Parks, Cruise Ships. The Technical Director (Intern) will support the Technical Direction team members in managing designs of technical systems with full supervision of a staff Technical Director.For projects in production, this position could support the Full Time Technical Director for in-field supervision of show system installation and coordination with construction activities. The Technical Director (Intern) would have project responsibilities but no personnel reporting responsibilities.

Junior or Senior, graduate student, or recent graduate earning or completing MFA in a technical design-related field
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate must be enrolled in an accredited college/university/technical school and enrolled prior to the term (spring or fall) for participation in the program. Considerations will also be made for post graduate candidates within 6 months of graduation. Candidates must be 18 years of age at time of internship start date. This is not a hybrid position and the position will be required to work a minimum of 37.5 hours a week. Housing and Meals are not provided and are the responsibility of the candidate.
