Job Details

The Technical Program Manager is the lead subject matter expert in driving cross-cutting initiatives across the revenue product initiatives in ITS. This individual contributor role will exercise considerable judgement to define long-term strategy in ways to standardize, ensure execution is efficient and consistent, and set accountability by tracking progress, resolving dependencies, evaluating risks and communicating status to upper management and project stakeholders.

Key Duties

As lead subject matter expert, this role is accountable to lead multiple complex and technically critical programs, across divisions and companywide initiatives in collaboration with the enterprise project management office.

Lead effort to intake product requests, evaluate impact and drive prioritization of work for the teams

Exercise considerable latitude and initiative to solve complex technical issues and find solutions for program problems as they arise; responsible for consolidating solutions into an executive summary, detail status, and communicate to various stakeholders.

Acts as an expert communicator: Tailor the message and detail to the audience and use of multiple communication mediums to distribute information.

Make decisions on appropriate trade-offs to optimize time-to-delivery, clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal cross-functional and cross departmental product teams.

Leverage advanced knowledge to maintain intimate knowledge of systems and identify unnecessary complexity or unmet dependencies.

Leverage and identify opportunities for agile efficiency and scale and define vision with the organization s leadership

Clarifies cross-functional problems and identifies options and solutions by breaking down complex issues or processes into component parts.

Manage complex program timelines, decisions, risks, issues, actions and budget.

Job-Specific Experience, Education & Skills

Required

o A minimum of 5 years in project/product/technical program management.

o Proven Program management and technical project management capabilities.

o Proven ability to lead & guide technology teams in complex environments.

o 7 years hands-on experience addressing all elements of scope, schedule, budget, risk evaluation, issue resolution, quality, integration, staffing, and communications on software engineering projects

o Ability to effectively communicate with and influence senior executive audience

o Experience managing teams and providing oversight and coaching

o Experience with technology integration planning and execution oversight for M&A

o Proven track record of successful project delivery

o Experience operating in a hybrid environment where teams are working in a mixture of agile/product centric and waterfall delivery models

o Experience with vendor management
