Position Location: 305 Travis Ln, Waukesha, WI 53189
Position Hours: FULLTIME: 1st shift: Wednesday 12 PM - 6 PM and Thursday - Saturday 6 AM-6 PM
OR
3rd shift: 10 PM - 6:30 AM Monday - Friday (receive 13% 3rd shift premium)
Position Wage: Starting at $20 per hour (plus based on experience).

Job Description:
The Inspection Operator is responsible for verifying products meet customerrequirements, identifies nonconformities, communicating & documenting issues as they arise,& maintaining compliance with ThermTech’s Quality Management System. Working withproduction team members when needed will be expected as well.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Follow schedules & process work to exceed customer expectations
  • Utilize the hot list & priority list for products
  • Perform daily walk through with prior shift for verification of testing instruments.
  • Safe & efficient operation of all equipment within the Inspection Department Cell
  • Learn proper testing locations based off of work instructions or part configuration
  • Assist in developing appropriate inspection techniques where required
  • Counting & identifying parts prior to inspection for verification of specific orders
  • Must understand proper packaging of parts including the following at a minimum
o Wrapping of parts to prevent damage o Shrink wrap and banding of parts to skids o UPS packaging, double boxing o Appropriate tagging/identification practice
  • Maintain verification test blocks & communicate with Equipment Quality whenreplacements are required
  • Perform basic maintenance & adjustments on inspection equipment
  • Assist with production when needed
  • Understand tagging & transfer procedures
  • Understand the processing of all material within production areas
  • Cleaning of sand media prior to reusing
  • Operations of cryo-genic boxes including the following
o Loading and unloading
o Temperature controller settings
o Startup / shut down
  • Operations of hand blaster including the following at a minimum
o Loading / unloading
o Startup / shut down
  • Operations of tumble blaster including the following at a minimum
o Loading / unloading
o Startup / shut down
o Cleaning of shot media prior to reusing
  • Ensure plant organization & cleanliness
Minimum Requirements:
All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test & background check.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Acquire/maintain forklift certification
Experience: Prior factory work preferred

  • Be knowledgeable of all plant equipment & procedures

  • Proficient physical shape- able to lift 25 lbs. regularly
