Position Title: Production Control Supervisor Reports To: Manufacturing Manager

Department: Manufacturing Direct Reports (if applicable): Material Handlers & Manufacturing Operators

Summary

The Production Control Supervisor is responsible for manufacturing and inventory control tasks that coordinate operations within the injection molding process technicians. They lead a team of material handlers and manufacturing operators to achieve the production schedule objectives and requirements. They are responsible for ensuring products are manufactured to the highest standards of quality, resolving any issues that arise, while enabling efficient and effective work flow for the production of finished goods and assemblies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Review production schedules and work orders to determine material requirements and priorities
• Leads operators and material handlers in the manufacturing process
• Audits (Bill of Materials) BOM accuracy in our ERP System (IQMS) for quality production
• Troubleshoot production reporting errors and variances
• Maintain inventories of components or supplies necessary to meet production demands
• Confer with scheduling or other personnel to assess progress and discuss needed changes to the dynamic schedule
• Manage OEE effectiveness from Real Time Reporting to ensure machines are running optimally
• Analyze information and evaluate results to solve problems
• Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Other duties as assigned by management

Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field
• Experience working in manufacturing environment preferred, but not required
• Demonstrate initiative; results oriented; willingness and ability to institute change
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills, along with exceptional organization skills
• Motivated to grow and develop skills for advancement
• Proficient computer skills
