Job Description
Are you an analytical problem solver who likes a fast-paced environment that strives for excellence in satisfying customer’s needs? An exciting opportunity awaits for you to join the Encompass Third Party Team as a Pricing Analyst I!
In addition to being a member of the Encompass Pricing Team the successful applicant will work in collaboration with many other teams including the Encompass Supplier Account Team, Purchasing Team, Sourcing Team, Commercial Team and our partnerships with outside Suppliers just to name a few! Expectations will also include performing work that is multifaceted relying on previous experiences and knowledge to accomplish assigned tasks.
Maintain and triage the general pricing inbox, assign an owner to emails, follow-up on emails, and other administrative tasks for the pricing team.
Contact unresponsive suppliers via email, phone or supplier website for current pricing and update cost/list information in AS400.
Process data and generate routine reports for management, meetings, dashboards.
Support customers, commercial team, purchasing team and other internal employees in facilitating pricing accuracy and updates.
Responsible for gathering and updating single SKU requests (>1000 suppliers).
Collaborate with internal teams to plan and implement pricing requests and updates.
Assist the Content Analyst in gathering of content (product titles, long descriptions, images) from suppliers.
Coverage of content inbox and main POC for Content Analyst during PTO
Item Maintenance using PDH system including:
Discontinue/Sub parts including Cross References for fishersci.com
Duplicate part identification and clean up
Commodity Code assignments
VMA and VPA maintenance
Unit of measure updates
Create/maintain customer specific pricing to stay in compliance with customer contracts.

Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Experience with IBM Mainframe, IBM Cognos, PowerBI, Smartsheet is a plus.
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Finance with 1 years work experience in general business, pricing, or finance required OR
High school diploma with 3 years equivalent work experience in general business, pricing or finance in lieu of Bachelor's Degree.
