Job Description
As the Sr. Product Engineer you will work with cross functional teams to design, develop, and validate product changes from concept to launch. You will become a subject matter expert and serve as a mentor for new talent. Your design work will support our continuous improvement and cost reduction agendas to improve the health of our business.
YOUR ROLE:

Product Design and Development: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product requirements and specifications. Utilize CAD software and other design tools to create detailed product designs and prototypes.
Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement. Conduct rigorous testing to ensure product performance, reliability, and safety.
Manufacturing Support: Work closely with manufacturing teams to transition designs from prototype to production. Provide technical support and guidance to ensure efficient and cost-effective manufacturing processes.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for product optimization and cost reduction through design improvements and process enhancements. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines. Communicate effectively with external vendors and partners to coordinate project activities and resolve technical issues.
Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of design iterations, test results, and project milestones. Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, drawings, and reports, to support product development activities.
