Therapeutic Alliance LLC is a private mental health agency offering professional mental health counseling throughout Virginia. We strive to provide culturally sensitive counseling services to children, adults and their families in several languages. Clients comprise all cultural, racial and economic backgrounds, including individuals with different sexual orientations. The Therapeutic Alliance staff possess educational and clinical training that allows us to address mental health, substance abuse and behavioral issues using evidence-based methods. We provide extensive supervision to each and every case as a means to ensure a sound therapeutic approach. Therapeutic Alliance is a licensed provider of Intensive-In-Home(IIH), Mental Health Skill Services(MHSS) and Applied Behavioral services(ABS).

Job Summary

At Therapeutic Alliance LLC., we believe “People Make the Difference”, and we are looking for a sharp, energetic Clinical Supervisor in the Roanoke area who can contribute to making a difference and grow with our agency. As a Clinical Supervisor, you are the supervisory member of our organization that is assisting in the professional growth of our clinicians and expansion of our organization through sound clinical interventions provided to all of our clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assist in hiring, training, supervising and assessing therapists/clinicians.
• Coordinate therapists’ schedules and caseload assignments.
• Provide vision and leadership to a team of therapists and ensure that they have the professional development, training and resources necessary to deliver high-quality services.
• Develop and maintain a parent education, communications and engagement strategy.
• Assist with evaluation/assessment of clients (including goal setting, data collection and monitoring) and reporting.
• Work to enhance, market, expand, strengthen and assess the early intervention services across the region.
• Other duties as required

Qualifications and Skills

• Must possess Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or another appropriate licensure.
• At least two years of professional experience working with at-risk population.
• At least two years of experience supervising staff.
• Familiarity with providing in-home services and knowledge of child development.
• Excellent organization, written and oral communication skills.
• Experience working with a diverse clientele.
• Physical demands: Must be able to engage with children (i.e., sitting on the floor, bending, stooping, kneeling, walking, running, etc.). Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.
