Job Description

Colorado Chinese Medicine University (CCMU) in Denver is seeking one passionate individual to join our team. The person we are seeking has a bachelor's degree, is great with numbers, able to multitask, experience working with excel spreadsheets:

Responsibilities:

50% - Financial Aid

· Administer all aspects of Financial Aid and Key Education Resources Student Loans including all paperwork, student signatures, checks delivered to Bookkeeper for deposit, student refunds.

o Assists students in applying for all forms of student financial assistance (Federal, State, Agency, Veterans, Employer, etc.).

o Conducts entrance and exit counseling for student borrowers.

o Performs data entry and file maintenance on the Populi and NSLDS data management systems.

o Performs need analysis and financial aid packaging in Populi.

o Verifies and corrects financial aid application data. Prepares Professional Judgment applications for review by the Financial Director

o Maintains student files, assembles new student information and application packages and performs other clerical assignments

o Monthly reconcile

· Assist Financial Director with annual audit

· Assist students with student loan deferments.

· Regular and reliable attendance.

50% - Assistant Registrar

· maintenance, and organization of all the school’s records including admissions material, student records, transcripts, clinic records, diplomas, faculty files, course files, evaluations, etc. and to assure privacy of all records. This position ensures internal processes at the school relating to all administrative records are consistently maintained.

· run reports for different requirements.

Qualifications:

· Ability to interact with all levels of individuals.

· Detail oriented problem solver and the ability to multi-task.

· Competency in the use of a personal computer and other office equipment

· Ability to work in an environment that can be fast-paced and stressful at times

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Bachelor’s degree

· Previous education in mathematics, finance, statistic or similar preferred
