Job description
- Prepare market-ready apartments
- Respond to work orders
- Clean Carpets
- Complete daily community inspections
- Adhere to maintenance budgets
- Implement Maintenance Department programs (i.e., HVAC, carpet, etc.)
- Monitor the maintenance and upkeep of all mechanical equipment
- Perform electrical installations, carpentry/construction, furnace and air conditioner repairs, filter changing, coil cleaning, plumbing and appliance repairs, drywall and painting repairs, vinyl epairs, minor roof repairs, etc.
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- Two years’ maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to perform/coordinate emergency building repairs, including working with subcontractors
- Experience in the safe handling and use of relevant power tools
