Job Title:Line Cook 

Department: Kitchen Facilities

Reports To: Executive Chef

Compensation:$17-$20 per hour plus 1% of food revenue

Summary

To support Kitchen Management in day to day operations of The Workshop Brewing Company (WBC) and Kingsley Local Brewing (KLB) kitchens, Be responsible for line management. participate in preparing and cooking foods by performing the following duties:

Essential Duties And Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Assist in supporting the Chef in his implementation and vision for 

WBC and KLB.

Possess the ability to perform under pressure and step up where needed to get the job done.

Be able to maintain a positive attitude and encourage and maintain a healthy work environment.

Possess the ability to work each station efficiently, help when needed, and know what the standard should be for each station.

Work with Management in implementing new menu items, prep standards, and procedures to better the kitchen. 

Report any maintenance or safety problems to Management on a daily basis.

Maintain uniform and dress code standards.

Prepare, cook, and serve all menu items as needed.

Work with the entire team at WBC and KLB to ensure food production and cleaning of the kitchens is performed to standard. 

Qualifications to perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for long periods of time, must be able to lift 50 lbs in weight and carry that weight up and down stairs, must be able to read and write to facilitate communication, must possess a valid driver’s license.
