Busy gynecology and urogynecology office seeking mature, experienced medical billing specialist. Must be familiar with electronic medical records (eClinicalWorks preferred), have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and be able to integrate into the larger team quickly. Applicant must be ok with a background check upon hiring.

Job duties listed below but not limited to:

EFT payment posting

payment denial f/u

correct rebill and appeal initial claim denials

EFT zero pay

posting patient payments, medical records and insurance payments through the mail

statement printing and mailing

Paypal payments

Refund report

Bank deposits

end of day closing

claim scrubbing/send claims to Piedmont

Surgeries/ER charges

Month end and balancing reports

Patient Account Receivable

Insurance Account Receivable

Fee Schedule updates
