ARCHIVIST – Seattle, WA
The Winthrop Group has an immediate opening for a part-time archivist position in Seattle, Washington. The archivist will work with U Prep, an independent school, to establish a new archives program. They will work on-site 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling, and collaborate with school staff and a Winthrop Lead Archivist. Supervision, training, and support will be provided by the Lead Archivist. This 12-month position is anticipated to begin in January 2024 with the possibility of a contract renewal.

Work Environment
The Archivist will work on-site in North Seattle at U Prep's campus. Successful completion of a background check is a prerequisite. The selected archivist will be required to comply with all on-campus school protocols. You must be able to move boxes up to 40 lbs.
Compensation
Hourly rate: $35.00 per hour ($280 /day)
20 hours per week
