Assistant Property Manager (Retail)
The Wilder Companies, a growing, Boston based Retail Real Estate development, management and leasing firm, has an immediate opening for a Retail Portfolio Assistant Property Manager to oversee in conjunction with a Property Manager a part of its property portfolio.
Duties & Responsibilities –
The position includes the day-to-day management of multiple properties throughout New England.
Responsibilities include property operations, contract negotiation and management, lease administration, vendor sourcing, tenant and client relations, and monthly reporting and analysis assistance. The candidate is required to develop and maintain relationships with internal teams, vendors, contractors, tenants, and local community officials. You will manage multiple projects and be responsible for assisting in the creation and implementation of annual operating budgets and strategic plans for the centers.
Requirements –
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in Commercial Property Management, ideally retail and operationally based experience. A college degree is required, as is a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. MRI and YARDI are a plus. The candidate must have excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work with all departments within the company. The candidate must also be able to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate reports to the Vice President of Asset Management.
