The Whipple Law Group, PLLC, is a growing law firm, focused in the areas of Estate Planning, Guardianship, Probate, and Elder Law. Seeking skilled Certified Paralegal for full-time employment. Applicant’s schedule will need to accommodate 8-5 weekday schedule with flexibility for overtime if needed.
Must be a self-starter, adaptable, organized, attentive to detail, and work well in an office environment.
Minimum Skills Required:
Proficient Microsoft Office Skills, specifically Word and Excel;
Multitasking;
Moderate Math Skills;
Accomplished typing and numerical data entry;
Professional writing skills;
Personable demeanor for in-person and telephone client communication.
Responsibilities:
Preparing/drafting legal documents;
Maintaining the organization of client files;
Meet with clients, attorneys, and other legal professionals;
File court documents;
Answer phones professionally;
Intake new clients;
Maintain client files;
Organize and schedule appointments;
Gathering and analyzing research.
Requirements:
Preferably, a certificate of completion from an ABA-approved paralegal certification program of education and training, or an associate degree in paralegal studies;
Associate degree;
Organizational skills;
Office administration experience
Manage time-sensitive documents;
Function in a busy, team-oriented environment.
