JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an upbeat and personable team player who can have fun in the sun. This is an entry level position into the restaurant industry. The responsibilities of this role primarily consist of assisting servers and bartenders as needed. The selected candidate for this role will be reliable, have thorough attention to detail, demonstrate exceptional service, provide prompt responses to service requests and uphold the brand's standards.

DESIRED COMPETENCIES, WORK SKILLS, AND KNOWLEDGE

• Operates stations in an efficient safe manner.
• Assists the servers and bartenders.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of all food/beverage items.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple verbal or written instructions
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Knowledgeable of all menu items on scheduled shift
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Retrieve and deliver food/beverage orders in a timely manner.
• Retrieve and deliver food/beverage orders from pool and beach.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all times.
• Maintain situational awareness at all times.
• Check for broken items on the floor and wet areas that may be hazardous and remove when applicable.
• Maintain pool cleanliness (pick up pool towels, ensure pool area is neat and free of litter etc.).
• Remove trash from food production and restaurant areas when needed.
• Thorough understanding and use of safety procedures when using all equipment.
• Thorough understanding and use of safety procedures when using chemicals, chemical compounds or cleaning products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain reliability, regular attendance, consistently arrive for scheduled shift on time.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
• Ability to work within scheduled hours of 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
• Observe duties, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming in compliance with the company dress code.
• Ability to walk fast (move with a purpose).
• Work Outdoors.
• Ability to carry minimum of 50 lbs.
• Provide the best possible service to clients and customers.
• Produce adequate volume of work efficiently in specified time.
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Demonstrates or exceeds acceptable productivity standards.
• Takes Initiative.
