Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team and assist with patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing support to healthcare professionals, taking vitals, performing blood draws and IV's, administering weight loss injections, and ensuring the overall well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

-Assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality care to patients at our wellness clinic.

-Administer weight loss injections and monitor patient response.

-Perform proper IV therapy administration for patients in a timely and efficient manner.

-Perform blood draws and ensure accurate labeling and handling of specimens.

-Retrieve lab results and communicate findings to healthcare providers and patients.

-Maintain cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and supplies.

-Provide support to patients during procedures and educate them on wellness practices.

-Perform clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, and administering medications.

-Handle patient inquiries, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service.

-Perform basic medical procedures under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider.

-Provide medical administrative support, including updating patient files and charts.

Experience:
-High school diploma or equivalent.

-Completion of a medical assistant program or relevant certification.

-Previous experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in a wellness clinic.

-Proficiency in administering medications and performing blood draws.

-Certification in IV therapy preferred.

-Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-Ability to perform tasks such as taking vital signs accurately.

-Proficiency in medication administration and knowledge of basic life support techniques.
