All Star Health PLLC - Spine & Joint Care Clinic (TEMPE Location) is looking for an experienced certified medial assistant(CMA) to join our sports medicine multidisciplinary team full-time, Monday to Thursday with 3 DAY WEEKENDS - 9.5- 10 hr. shifts. We are looking for an individual that is detailed-oriented, dependable, easy going, gives 100% and enjoys helping others.

Immediate Hire Position.

DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT NOT LIMITED TO): ****PLEASE READ BELOW****

• Obtain a detailed and concise history of present illness and past medical history for new patients, CHARTING into EMR system
• Update patient notes CHARTING into EMR, detailed and concisely on follow-up visits
• Add Diagnoses Sets and Charges into the chart
• 1st assist during in-office procedures with medical provider
• Provide Patient education as appropriate
• Submit paperwork/information for prior authorization on procedures
• Provider assist with medical procedures
• Communicating with patients by phone and/or email if needed
• Give IM Injections
• Take Vital signs
• Responsible for working as a team player with providers, front and back office
• Communicate clearly and professionally with other clinic team members about the patient (good memory recall/pattern recognition a must)

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must possess a current, valid Medical assistant certification/Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) (Required)
• Have at least 2 years of relevant musculoskeletal/multi-specialty work experience (Required)
• Be able to type at least 50 w.p.m or more (Preferred)
• Have knowledge and worked on EMR systems and knowledge of ICD-10 codes
• Proficient in MS Word and MS Teams
• Basic knowledge of insurance plans and their rules
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology in orthopedics
• Ability to use sound independent judgement and self-supervise
• Ability to handle a moderate to high volume of patients with skill and confidence

JOB Type: Full-Time.

PAY: $19.50 - $22.00 based on experience and credentials.

SCHEDULE: Mon - Thurs, 9.5- 10 hr. shifts, NO Weekends/3 Day Weekends!!
