The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is part of an integrated team of professionals Who provides community presence and physical, emotional, relational and care for our residents. The Waters care model is based on the principles of integrated nursing That provides resident care, assisted with designing and fulfilling care based on an individual's resident assessment, and leads teams of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) in the provision of excellent care.
Different from many traditional roles, the LPN at The Waters Engages in hands-on care, Develops close relationships with residents and families, and leads by example for our Unlicensed caregivers and volunteers.
The Successful Applicant will have:

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program required

• Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the state in good standing in the community is located or ability to obtain license

• Current licensure maintained (12 hours per year of Continuing Education Unit (CEU)) required

• Experience with general nursing and senior care required

• Knowledgeable about the Home Care Bill of Rights as it applies to the LPN

• Knowledge of and willingness to learn advanced therapies for memory care

• Demonstrated leadership, good judgment, and Dependability

• Possess and compassion for Commitment to hospitality, service, and excellence in senior care

• Excellent listening, Oral and Written communication in English

• Ability to function as a primary caregiver and team members Perform Duties of Unlicensed

• Ability to be flexible with hours / shift schedules and assignments including holidays and weekends
