The Watering Bowl, a cage-free doggy daycare and boarding facility, is looking for an enthusiastic, responsible and motivated Doggy Daycare Attendant. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. The Watering Bowl has four locations: South County, Brentwood (Hanley), The Grove (Dog Grove) and St. Peters.

We are looking for dog lovers who want a hands on, detail-oriented position. Our Daycare Attendants main job is to monitor our dog packs safety while also keeping up with their messes. Over time you will learn every dog's name and habits and build bonds with those dogs everyday. We work hard to ensure important notes about a dog's day make it to their owners upon pick up and teamwork is the only way we can make this happen, so good communication skills are a must. Time management and a keen eye for dog behavior are also talents a strong applicant will possess. While monitoring the daycare pack is your main job, this position will also assist with grooming responsibilities such as baths, teeth cleanings and ear cleanings.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be available to work a mix of both morning and afternoon/evening shifts (typically 6:45am-1:30pm and 1pm-8:30pm)
• Weekends and some holidays are required
• Must be comfortable standing on your feet the entire shift and be able to lift 50lbs
• Must be comfortable working both inside and outside in all weather conditions
• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school degree or equivalent
