The Water Valley Company is Hiring a Lead Pool Attendant Near Windsor, CO

Lead Pool Attendant
JOB OVERVIEW
Responsible for working the front desk, pool grounds maintenance and upkeep (cleaning, equipment checks etc.), bathroom upkeep (cleaning, restocking items, etc.), and facilitating pool activities that involve guest participation aside from lifeguards’ primary responsibilities.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Train pool attendants
  • Relay vital information between front desk staff and pool manager, pool supervisor and operation manager
  • Help with event set up and in-service/ training
  • Assist in monitoring weather and conditions and react appropriately to include evacuation of pool, participants seeking covered shelter and verifying conditions are safe prior to allowing swimmers to return to pool
  • Work at the front desk helping families check in while maintaining excellent communication and guest service skills
  • Keep exact records of all sales made for each day through proper inputting, including but not limited to pool day passes and merchandise sold in the cash register
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures to ensure pool area is safe and ready for guests to use
  • Open and close pools
  • Assists lifeguards and other pool staff with opening, daily, and closing duties
  • Assist CPO and Pool Manager to organize and facilitate pool activities and events for Water Valley community
  • Ensure the health and safety of all members and participants by knowing, understanding, and consistently enforcing safety rules, policies, procedures, and regulations for the pool and aquatic area
  • Know/review all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with JCC policies and procedures. Completes related reports as required.
  • Exercise good judgment and communicate concerns to your supervisor
  • Keep pool area and equipment clean, neat, and organized
  • Keep check in area clean, neat, organized and appropriately stocked on supplies
  • Let Pool or Operations manager if low or in need of supplies
  • Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Perform all job tasks within the rules and guidelines of RainDance and Water Valley safety program
  • Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a pool attendant or lifeguard role preferred
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
  • Knowledge of pool maintenance procedures and safety protocols
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Certification in lifeguarding, CPR, and first aid may be required
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed
Expected Pay Range: $16-$18
