Position Overview:
We are seeking an athletic and physically fit hostess to join our team. This role involves a blend of hosting/greeting duties, providing demonstrations and instructions on our golf simulators, and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a professional appearance, an outgoing personality, and the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and knowledgeable manner. The hostess must become ServSafe certified to ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities:
Hosting / Greeting
- Greet guests warmly as they enter, and ensure they feel welcome and valued.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins, including seating guests according to their preferences and availability.
- Provide guests with information about the menu, dining options, and golf simulators.
- Maintain an organized and efficient reservation system, and communicate with other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Manage the waitlist during peak times, providing accurate wait times and updates to guests.
- Guide guests to their tables and inform them of their server's name.
- Coordinate with servers and other staff to optimize table turnovers and service flow.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Assist with special requests and accommodations for guests as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a hosting role is preferred
- Outgoing, friendly, and approachable personality.
- Professional and alethic appearance and demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
Minimum Employment Standards
- Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must wear company provided uniform (Golf dress for ladies and shorts and golf polo for men)
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
