This role is pivotal in ensuring the high-quality assembly of our sorting machines, which are crucial for various industries around the globe. Description
  • Assemble mechanical components according to engineering drawings and specifications to ensure the functionality and reliability of our sorting machines.
  • Perform mechanical adjustments and alignments with precision to achieve optimal performance of the machines.
  • Conduct pre-assembly activities, including reading and interpreting blueprints, picking parts, and preparing assembly workstations.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, as well as measuring instruments, to assemble, install, and adjust mechanical systems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and quality assurance teams to address and resolve assembly issues, ensuring products meet quality standards.
  • Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies to identify any faults or performance issues.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and provide feedback on assembly processes and documentation.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in mechanical engineering, industrial technology, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in mechanical assembly, preferably in the manufacturing of industrial machinery or equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with using a variety of tools and equipment for mechanical assembly tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet production deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
