TITLE: GOLF PRO SHOP ASSISTANT

REPORTS TO: PGA DIRECTOR OF GOLF

SCHEDULE: AS DETERMINED BY SUPERVISOR

STATUS: FULL-TIME, NON-EXEMPT

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Member and Guest Services.

· Golf Reservations and Tee Sheet Management.

· Pro Shop Opening and Closing Duties.

· Point of Sale Operations — collect fees for golf and merchandise sales.

· Assists with Golf Tournament Facilitation.

· Pro Shop Administrative Operations.

· Promote Merchandise Sales.

· Assist with Golf Cart and Driving Range Duties as necessary.

· Basic Golf Club Repair Services.

· Maintain a Basic Knowledge and Awareness of the Game of Golf.

· Provide Golf Instruction (for PGA Affiliate Applicants Only)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

· Computer experience.

· Team Player.

· Excellent Customer Service Acumen.

· Ability to follow instructions.

· Excellent communication skills, congeniality.

· General office skills and experience.

· Maintain a Clean and Organized Workspace.

· Ability to lift up to 30 lb.

· Ability to stand for long periods.

· Good mobility, ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist.

· Ability to communicate verbally, good hearing.

· Exposure to computer screen.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
