Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Swim Coach to join our team for the upcoming summer season. This is a seasonal position from May 28th to July 19th, perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic about swimming and coaching.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the head coach in planning and implementing swim practices and training sessions.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to swimmers to improve their technique and performance.
• Help maintain a safe and supportive environment for all swimmers.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as attendance tracking and meet preparation.
• Actively engage with swimmers and parents to address any concerns or questions.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a swimmer or swim coach preferred.
• Strong knowledge of swimming techniques and training methods.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well within a team and independently.
• Must be available for practices and meets during the specified season.

Schedule and Compensation:

• Practices are held Monday to Thursday from 7:00 am to 10:30 am.
• Meets are scheduled for Fridays.
• Competitive hourly pay ranging from $17 to $19 per hour, commensurate with experience.
